Using plink.exe at the command line allows for all the functionality of PuTTY from a Windows batchfile:
plink.exe -ssh -pw password firstname.lastname@example.org command
In spite of providing the username and password this command, you may find that you are still prompted to “Login as:”.
To fix this you must delete some of the registry keys created by PuTTY for saved sessions. Any subkeys of:
should be deleted.
The PuTTY application will continue to function as normal without these keys, but your saved sessions inside PuTTY will be lost.
